Equipped with an incredibly wide variety of lighting options, along with an eye for innovative solutions, creative ideas and aesthetics, Artilux is a brand that caters to the most sophisticated and discerning palettes, targeting an audience with appreciation for quality living and an eye for aesthetics.

With offerings such as quality lighting with end-to-end service and expert in-house design capabilities, the brand’s focus lies mainly on retail and residential projects, with a grounded yet forward-looking understanding in how lighting completes experiences, textures and colours within a space.

Whether a space, experience, or structure requires a gentle glow or a brighter gleam, Artilux, in thoroughly understanding how art and science converge to underpin the concept of lighting, is able to exercise their incisive judgement and artistic vision to elevate experiences and complement spaces.

Brand Discovery Process and Brand Strategy Development

Together with the minds behind Artilux, we undertook an extensive rebranding exercise and meticulously examined the brand’s history, challenges, opportunities and aspirations this eventually culminated into establishing a forward-looking brand identity, innovating digital strategy, revamping a consumer-centric website, and refreshing packaging and collateral designs.

For a brand that is rapidly making its mark within the Singapore landscape, we explored rebranding that captures an innovative spirit that will go well into the future.

Keeping in mind that Artilux’s audience profile comprises discerning designers, architects, and homeowners, we diligently analysed the landscape of the lighting industry alongside Artilux’s target audience’s behavioural patterns and customer experience journey.

Brand Identity and Brand Elements Development

Primarily founded upon Artilux’s brand vision of refining sophisticated living and experiential spaces through the artful use of lighting, we created a simple yet straightforward wordmark logo that in itself reflects the brand’s tasteful vision and innovative spirit.

To create an altogether elevated aesthetic, we selected a colour palette and typography that both imbue a level of refinement and elegance, while still keeping them versatile and suitable for use across a range of collaterals and designs.

To keep Artilux’s brand identity consistent throughout, we also developed a Brand Guide for their team to use. To complete the brand refresh, we composed a tone of voice and art direction that we think would be well-suited with their target audience.

Collateral Design

For Artilux to introduce the brand to other external stakeholders and partners, we designed a succinct Brand Introductory Kit, so that all information conveyed and distributed remains consistent and accurate across all presentations.

Website Design and Development

In collaboration with the Artilux team and expert website developer Eugene Sim, we redesigned the brand’s website to support the brand refresh, with a modern influence that will withstand the test of time.

To best represent the brand’s offerings, the website showcases Artilux’s projects in an organised manner, and houses educational articles that interior designers, architects, and homeowners will find useful. To achieve greater interaction and dedicated service from the team to their audience, we also installed a chatbot for Artilux’s clients to communicate with the team seamlessly and obtain the answers in a convenient and speedy manner.

The interface on mobile and other devices have also been optimised for the convenience and ease of their digital-savvy audiences and for those accessing the site on the move.

Digital Media

Together with the Artilux team, we identified challenges that the brand was facing and mapped out the important objectives and possible remedies we would be able to achieve and create by drawing on a social media presence and digital platforms.

To do this, we conceived a well-considered strategy and helmed the art direction for Artilux’s social media platforms. In determining the most ideal format to deliver content and information to their target audience, we created a distinct online personality for Artilux to help them embrace and integrate a digital persona to showcase and expand their brand’s audience.

For ease and consistency, we also built several templates, ensuring that they were easily adaptable and true to the brand’s visions and art direction.
