This Lunar New Year of 2022, we greeted the Year of the Water Tiger with a spirit of optimism and warm festive greetings. A meaningful tradition practised in some East and Southeast Asian cultures is the act of giving the gift of a red envelope or red packet to symbolise and convey best wishes and regards for the coming year. Especially in the financial sectors and banks, unique and meticulously-designed red envelopes are crafted and given out to treasured clients.

As a thoughtful and appropriate gift to Citibank’s premium clients, we collaborated with Medialink Printing Services to design a dazzling landscape depicting a bamboo forest with water tigers.

In Chinese culture, water symbolises wealth and a continuous flow of success, while mountains symbolise a firm and unwavering spirit. With this in mind, we have incorporated a magnificent waterfall and majestic mountains to convey Citibank’s wishes for a profitable and auspicious year for their clients.
